JOB DESCRIPTION:

One of our well-established clients based in Johannesburg is looking for a Senior Data Engineer to join their team as a mentor as well as join various teams to deliver objectives on time and to ensure projects are completed efficiently and effectively.

Experience and Skills Required:
Relevant qualification
More than 5 years experience as a data engineer
Big Data Experience is essential
AWS experience is a must
Must be familiar with Python, Bash and SQL
Snowflake and DBT is important
Linux and Mac experience
Ability to work in agile driven environment
Familiar with enterprise-standard ETL/ELT processes
Multi-language software development experience
