POSITION INFO:
Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field
Relevant certifications in SQL Server, Data Warehousing, or Cloud Platforms (advantageous)
Demonstrated expertise in data operations and SQL development
Exposure to Microsoft Fabric or similar modern data platforms preferred

Requirements:

Strong SQL skills, including advanced stored procedures and optimization
Experience in modernizing and automating data workflows
Solid understanding of data warehousing principles and ETL processes
Proven ability to document processes and ensure data quality and governance

Key Performance Areas (KPA’s):

Modernize and automate SQL-based and ETL processes
Maintain, optimize, and document all SQL routines
Act as the data custodian, ensuring integrity and accessibility of business data
Integrate and enhance data pipelines between systems and data warehouse
Support the transition to Microsoft Fabric and implement star schema best practices
Drive operational improvements and minimize business risk
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve data issues at source
