JOB DESCRIPTION:

Our Client based in East London will be needing a Senior Debtors Clerk to start as soon as possible.

Working experience in or knowledge of SAP would be preferable.

Extensive relevant working experience with Debtors of approx. R7 mil and higher is essential.

Duties would include the following, but not limited to:

Accurate record keeping of monies owed and payments made.
Followup on overdue accounts by contacting clients in writing or by telephone in order to recover the outstanding balance.
Routine bookkeeping duties in order to submit a record of all overdue accounts at the end of every month.
Calculation of interest on overdue accounts.
