This company have a global presence - with offices in the UK and in states as well. They're focusing on growing their Scottish technical team which is already really well established. They develop large scale, high volume web solutions for a recognised (and really cool!) brand with a highly regarded user base (customer experience is their key focus at all times!).
They use cutting-edge tools, so you'll always be on top of current market trends. The team work very closely together, invest time in new employees and personal development (setting aside time for this), and there is a strong social culture. Day-to-day you will be working with a mixture of on premise and cloud (AWS) software, supporting mainly the backend and platform teams. You'll be coding to build tools to help the teams, as well as focusing on creating CI/CD pipelines and looking at tools like Kubernetes, so at the end of the day, the Engineering team are able to 'shift left' and deliver a higher quality product faster.
Culture and mindset is really important to the company - they focus on collaboration and teamwork.
You'll have most of the following experience:
**Coding experience (JavaScript, C#, Python would be useful)
**Implementing CI/CD pipelines
**Mentoring/leading a team
**On premise experience as well as cloud
**Some Linux experience
**Docker, Kubernetes
**Puppet, Ansible would be a bonus
