Senior Drafts-person (CAD, Creo/Windchill)

SUMMARY:
we are looking to employ a senior Draughtsperson for a Trackless Mining Equipment Company based in Krugersdorp.

POSITION INFO:

Purpose:

To supervise the engineering draughting team. To ensure models and drawings are produced on time and to the correct standard. To control the quality of the models, drawings and other documentation produced by the draughtspersons.

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for the productivity of the draughting team.
• Responsible for the quality of models and drawings produced by the draughting team.
• Responsible for making recommendation to improve the draughting team performance.

Required Experience:

• Minimum of 20 years of drafting experience in a similar environment.
• Skills in drafting and mechanical drawing, high level of knowledge in drafting and modeling standards.
• CAD system experience, preferably Creo / Windchill.

Education:

Post secondary school training in Drafting and/or 20 years draughting experience in a 3D CAD environment. Non-negotiable
