SUMMARY:
Our client, a well-known and well-established Engineering Consulting Company who provides HVAC / Electrical / Fire / Wet / Energy Efficiency / Water Efficiency designs and sustainable solutions to the building services industry, requires the full-time services of an experienced Draughts Person in Mechanical Engineering design, for a position based in Centurion, to join their dynamic team ASAP.
Revit MEP Certification or higher qualification with 2-4+ years' experience in building HVAC and wet services needed for this exciting career opportunity.
POSITION INFO:
Duties and Responsibilities
Produce concept, tender and technical mechanical engineering drawing for commercial buildings, hospitals, data centers etc.
Generate conceptual plans for HVAC and Wet Services
Perform basic/concept designs for HVAC and Wet Services
Interfacing with multi-disciplinary engineering team and other project stakeholders
Draughting support services to construction team and clients
Work office hours in collaborative team - opportunity to learn from senior team members
Desired Experience and Qualifications
Matric and Revit MEP Certification required
Draughting diploma advantageous
- 2+ years’ experience as a building services design draftsperson
- Strong building services experience will be an advantage
- Navisworks and ACC coordination knowledge
- AutoCAD 2018 (or higher) with minimum 2 years’ experience.
- Revit MEP 2018 (or higher) with minimum 2 years’ experience - not negotiable.
- Knowledge of design principles and applications of HVAC (Heat Ventilation and Airconditioning systems)
- Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities, team player
