Are you a seasoned Electrical & Instrumentation Engineer with extensive experience in EPC/EPS projects within large industrial environments? This opportunity offers exposure to local and international projects, where you will take ownership of E&I and control systems engineering activities from design and procurement through to commissioning and project handover.
POSITION INFO:
Job Description: Lead E&I and control systems engineering projects from concept through to commissioning and handover Perform planning, design, specification development, costing, procurement, and reporting for project packages Develop and review electrical, instrumentation, and control systems deliverables for industrial plants Provide technical leadership and support to multidisciplinary project teams Manage supplier and subcontractor relationships to ensure successful project execution Support construction, installation, commissioning, and start-up activities both locally and internationally Ensure compliance with health, safety, quality, and industry standards throughout project execution Contribute to tendering, budgeting, and project cost control activities Skills & Experience: Minimum 6 years' experience within Electrical, Instrumentation, and Control Systems Engineering Minimum 4 years' plant commissioning experience Strong experience in E&I (HV, MV & LV) and control systems design within large industrial plants In-depth understanding of engineering drawings, specifications, industrial networks, and communication systems Knowledge of pricing, tendering, budgeting principles, and project controls Strong project planning, organisational, and project management skills Experience developing and implementing control systems from concept through execution Proven leadership skills with the ability to motivate and guide technical teams Qualification: Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Electrical, Electronic, Mechatronic, or related Engineering Discipline Professional Registration as Pr. Eng. or Pr. Tech required Only South African Residents or individuals with a relevant South African work permit will be considered.
