Senior Electrical Engineer

SUMMARY:
Join an International Consulting Engineering form where you will be Running Electrical Building Services projects as well checking designs and carrying out Business Development withing the Private Property Industry.

POSITION INFO:

Providing consulting engineering services within the property sector

Setting up client fee cost agreements

Cooperating with multidisciplinary team of engineers

Active involvement in Electrical Building Services design processes and co-ordination

Marketing related functions

Developing a client base

Business development with emphasis on client care

Managing internal finances

Management of professional fees on all projects

Completing projects from inception to close

Accurate design, budget and tender specification preparation

Financial control of projects

Construction monitoring

Skills & Experience:

Minimum of 10 years’ experience in consulting engineering post ECSA accreditation

Commercial Experience

Knowledge of SANS10142-1&2

Proficiency in Microsoft packages

Ability to offer creative solutions to clients

Knowledge and experience in electrical software packages e.g. Relux or Dialux

In depth knowledge of various building contracts

Proved track record in business development

Excellent client marketing skills

Prior Building services experience essential

Driver’s license and own transport

Willingness to travel nationally and within Africa

Valid RSA passport

Qualification:

BSc Eng OR BEng in Electrical Engineering

Pr. Eng

SAQCC Registered (Design Preferred)
