JOB SUMMARY:
Join one of the global leaders of high-resolution Earth observation camera suppliers for satellites. An excellent opportunity to become a part of this dynamic electro-optical development team and assist in further developing electronic subsystems.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Design, test and integrate electro-optical electronic systems and digital systems within the aerospace field.

Be a part of design reviews

Assist with AIT campaigns

Development of ground test and development equipment

Be a part of the development from conception to qualification of high-reliability mixed-signal electronic assemblies for use on spacecrafts

Skills & Experience:

Minimum 5+ years’ experience in design of high-speed FPGA electronics systems

Minimum 5+ years’ experience in high-speed, high-density PCB routing in 8+ layers.

Minimum 5+ years’ experience in using Altium Designer or Pads Professional.

Good knowledge and understanding of high-speed digital, low-noise analogue, and high-reliability design practices; in terms of schematics, PCB layout, and test and measurement.

Solid technical report writing skills using MS Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel).

Strong attention to detail

Excellent communication skills

Analytical and lateral thinking skills

Advantageous skills:

Experience with specifically Microsemi/Microchip FPGAs.

Experience in environmental testing and acceptance testing to high-quality standards.

Understanding radiation effects on electronics.

Experience in electro-optical design

Experience with Python (or similar scripting languages).

Experience with version control systems like SVN or Git.

Experience in standard coding compliance.

Experience in Siemens Teamcenter or any other formal configuration or product lifecycle management tool.

Qualification:

Bachelor’s Degree in Electronic Engineering.

Master’s Degree in Electronic Engineering.
