Senior Embedded Software Engineer

SUMMARY:
As a Senior Embedded Software Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and testing embedded software for mission-critical applications. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to understand requirements, design software architectures, and implement robust solutions that meet performance and reliability standards.

POSITION INFO:
Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and test embedded software for mission-critical applications.
• Collaborate with hardware engineers to define system architectures and interfaces.
• Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code following best practices.
• Perform unit testing and integration testing to ensure software reliability.
• Participate in code reviews and provide feedback to peers.
• Troubleshoot and debug issues to optimize software performance.
• Document software designs, requirements, and test procedures.

• 8+ years of experience in embedded software development.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as C and C++.
• Experience with real-time operating systems (RTOS) and embedded Linux.
• Knowledge of embedded hardware architectures and interfaces.
• Familiarity with communication protocols such as UART, SPI, I2C, and CAN.
• Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git) and issue tracking tools (e.g., Jira).
• Understanding of software development processes and methodologies.

• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
• Ability to work effectively in a cross-functional team environment.
• Experience with software development tools and IDEs.
• Familiarity with security and encryption techniques is advantageous.
• Knowledge of Agile development practices is a plus.

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
