Senior Engineer, Electrical

SUMMARY:
We are urgently recruiting a Senior Engineer, Electrical to join their team on a 12 month contract.
Control and Instrumentation experience is essential
Responsible for designing, developing, installing, managing and maintaining equipment which is used to monitor and control engineering systems, machinery & Processes.

POSITION INFO:
SITE BASED ROLE - Kriel area

JOB PURPOSE:

• To deliver expert technical support in engineering discipline in projects and to contribute effectively to development of the Group'' s business growth and operations

MAJOR CHALLENGES:

• Ensure that written reports are produced and delivered to client in accordance with Group  standards
  
• Ensure that latest legislative/ company requirements are adhered to with specific reference to engineering designs
• Recoverable hours across projects
• Oversee the execution of fit for purpose engineering design
  
• Implementation of design philosophy

QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:

• BEng Electrical Engineering (Essential/ Minimum)
• Management Development Programme (Recommendaded/ Desirable)
• GovCertificate of Competence: Engineering (Recommended /Desirable)
• Certificate Project Management (Recommended /Desirable)

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

• 6-8 years experience in Maintenance , Hazard identification, Risk assessment
• Procurement, Project Engineering, contract and Project management.
  

Control and Instrumentation Experience is a must
