Senior Engineer Electrical

SUMMARY:
Our client in the Mining Industry has an EE opportunity available for a Senior Electrical Engineer to be based in the Matla, Mpumalanga. This is a 12 months contract.

POSITION INFO:

Requirements

• Must have a BEng (Electrical Engineering)
• Management Development Programme (MDP)- - desirable
• Government Certificate of Competence: Engineering - desirable
• Certificate Project Management - desirable
• 6 – 8 Years’ experience in maintenance, hazard identification, risk assessment, procurement, project engineering, contract and project management
• Accreditation, Registration: Engineering Council of SA (PrEng) - essential
• Must have Control and Instrumentation experience

 KPA’s

• Responsible for designing, developing, installing, managing and maintaining equipment which is used to monitor and control engineering systems, machinery and processes
• Increase awareness of tech advancements to ensure access to appropriate technology to meet business deliverables and can expand technical base to access new areas of business
• Maintain and ensure a healthy environment, safe operations and practices, ensuring compliance with all applicable Safety Health Environment and Community (SHEC) policies and procedures in line with set standards
• Adhere to the systems and initiatives to drive performance excellence
• Provide expert technical support and direction to project teams and business units
• Support technology capabilities involved in project execution and delivery within Engineering discipline
