*  10 years Mechanical Maintenance - Like in petrochem, alcohol or sugar e.g. Boilers, Evaporators, Dryers etc...

*  5 years Asset Care Strategies (ISO 55000, PAS 55, RCM, TPM,CBM etc...)

*  5 years Training and Upskilling Mechanical Artisans

*  5 years CAPEX and Contractor Management

What the person must be able to do:

This role is in the FMCG Manufacturing sector. All duties would take place in this context.

*  Manage Plant Engineering Managers

*  Define Maintenance Strategy (e.g. ISO55000, PAS55, RCM, TPM, CBM)

*  Drive utilisation of SAP Maintenance System

*  Drive Team Knowledge and Expertise (including holding training workshops)

*  Ensure adherence to legislation and safety (PER, OSH Act, ISO 45000)

*  Drive new CAPEX Projects

Key Job Deliverables:

*  Implement an Organisational Maintenance Strategy

*  Ensure Adherence to Safety Best Practices and Legislation

*  Ensure New CAPEX Projects are a Success (Oversee Project and Contractors)

Background work experience:

*  10 years Mechanical Maintenance - Like in petrochem, alcohol or sugar e.g. Boilers, Evaporators, Dryers etc...

*  5 years Asset Care Strategies (ISO 55000, PAS 55, RCM, TPM,CBM etc...)

*  5 years Training and Upskilling Mechanical Artisans

*  5 years CAPEX and Contractor Management

*  BSc Mechanical Engineering + GCC (Government ticket)

*  Advanced Mechanical Maintenance Strategies

*  Practical hands-on experience in a Heavy Industry Mechanical Plant with lots of boilers, pipes, Centrifuges etc... Continuous operation environment

*  An in depth understanding of Asset Care Strategies and Best practices

*  Ability to train and mentor technical teams on how to perform maintenance on mechanical components

*  Ability to oversee large CAPEX projects with numerous contractors

*  Advantageous: PR Eng

Salary: Market Related. In the Range of R1.4Mil to R2Mil per annum. Highly exceptional more senior candidates may be considered.
