Senior Finance Analyst /contract role

Qualification

CA(SA) / CIMA

5 years’ experience

• Prepare budget

• Adhere to procedures, guidelines and targets

• Support the ROA business with budgeting & forecasting process

• Review budget and forecast submissions

• Responsible for the business unit forecasting, budgeting and rolling forecast process

• Co-ordinate target setting, planning, budgeting and forecasting activities

• Assist with analysis of monthly reports for Budgets and forecasts, forecast vs actual performance and sensitivity analysis

• Prepare various ad-hoc analysis and support business cases

• Consolidate operational plans and targets for the ROA business

• Perform ad-hoc analysis including modelling activities for commercial transactions

• Participate in FP&A projects, in particular, the implementation of new systems

• Run sensitivities on revenue and margins through the above model to support critical operational decision-making

• Ensure product margin information is kept accurate, up to date and include additional insights whereby margins become the cornerstone of operational decision-making

• Prepare financial analysis on competitors in Africa, consider global benchmarks and benchmark internally with insight

• Create and nurture a close relationship with the BI team to enable the above

• Maintain and execute relevant segment FP&A procedures

• Prepare and collate the group and functional area FP&A reports

• Analyse consolidated 24 month rolling forecasts of Income Statement and Cash flow statement and prepare the ROA rolling forecast presentation for review by the FPA finance manager.

• Responsible for ensuring that the finance section of the Executive Dashboard is accurate
