SUMMARY:
Senior Finance Manager position available - EE

POSITION INFO:

Position Purpose:

• The Senior Finance Manager plays a leading role in driving Operations performance through providing commercial and operational insight, effective performance management processes, and a rigorous financial control and corporate governance framework;
• The role will challenge local business Operations and optimise financial performance through driving budgets, forecasts and KPI’s;
• This entails managing relationships both inside and outside of Finance, improving business partnerships, focussed reporting (less reporting saying more), driving cost management processes, and driving capital rationing and cost management;
• The role will also be responsible for ensuring integration of financial compliance / controls within procurement management, IT infrastructure, business insurance and administrative support. For example, ensuring lines of compliance with contract controls and monitoring performance against contracts to ensure accurate provisioning.

Qualifications, Experience, Knowledge and Skills:

Qualifications:

• Financial related degree with professional qualification, CA, CCMA etc;

Experience:

• Financial analysis experience;
• Delivered a strong performance in a leadership role, having successfully managed teams;
• Solid mining sector experience;

Knowledge and Skills:

• Competent in mine financial systems and related legislation;
• Advanced Computer Literacy for role including SAP;
• Valid driving license code 08.
