Duties and Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage financial reporting for project-based accounting, ensuring accuracy and alignment with business goals.
• Prepare and analyze financial statements, project budgets, and forecasts, providing detailed insights and recommendations to senior management.
• Work with large data sets to track project performance, identify trends, and ensure financial control.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax regulations, and company policies.
• Collaborate with project managers and cross-functional teams to ensure financial objectives are met and projects remain within budget.
• Provide strategic financial support on long-term and short-term projects, offering guidance and data-driven decision-making.
• Manage and optimize financial systems, ensuring timely and accurate reporting across multiple projects.

• CA(SA) – Chartered Accountant (South Africa)
• Minimum of 3 years post-qualification experience, preferably in project-based accounting within engineering, construction, logistics, or mining sectors (Financial Services experience will not be considered).
• Strong expertise in working with large data sets and conducting detailed financial analysis.
• Excellent understanding of project-based financial management, budgeting, and cost control.
• Advanced proficiency in financial software and Excel.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to interact with internal teams and external stakeholders.
• Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving abilities
