POSITION INFO:
Senior Financial Accountant – Johannesburg North

Requirements:

Responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining accounting systems.
Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with IFRS 9, 16, 17.
Conduct variance analysis to identify trends and discrepancies, and ensure that financial reports accurately reflect the company’s performance, with a focus on insurance-specific metrics, providing actionable insights to senior management.
Collaborate with senior leadership to provide financial insights that inform strategic decision-making and business planning.
Streamline reporting processes to enhance the timeliness and accuracy of financial data, ensuring continuous improvement.

Job Experience & Skills Required:

BCom Degree in Accounting or Finance
SAIPA or SAICA articles qualified
5+ years post-articles experience within the self captive insurance sector
