POSITION INFO:
Job Description:
Our client is a reputable mining company with a strong operational footprint and a focus on safety, governance, and sustainable performance. The organization offers a structured environment where finance professionals are valued as key contributors to operational and strategic outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare full Annual Financial Statements (AFS) in line with IFRS
Compile audit packs and liaise with external auditors
Prepare monthly management accounts and detailed variance analysis
Support budgeting, forecasting, and cost tracking for mining operations
Ensure compliance with tax, statutory, and mining regulatory requirements
Maintain balance sheet integrity, including asset and inventory controls
Assist with CAPEX reporting and fixed asset management
Support continuous improvement of financial controls and processes

Job Experience & Skills Required:

BCom Accounting / Finance (or equivalent)
5+ years’ post articles experience in a mining or heavy industrial environment
Strong technical accounting and reporting skills
Experience with asset-intensive operations and cost accounting
High attention to detail and ability to work in a deadline-driven environment
