SUMMARY:
Are you a detail-driven finance professional with strong BuildSmart experience and a passion for working in a fast-paced construction environment? Our client, a reputable and growing player in the construction industry, is seeking a Senior Financial Accountant to strengthen their finance team and support complex, project-based operations. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys rolling up their sleeves, working closely with the numbers, and contributing to the operational success of construction projects.

POSITION INFO:
Company and Job Description:
As the Senior Financial Accountant, you will play a key role in ensuring accurate financial reporting, maintaining robust financial controls, and supporting both project and operational teams. You will work closely with management to deliver reliable financial information that enables informed decision-making.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare and review monthly management accounts
Maintain accurate financial records and perform reconciliations
Manage and monitor project accounting and cost reporting
Ensure effective use, integrity, and accuracy of BuildSmart
Assist with budgets, forecasts, and variance analysis
Support audits and ensure compliance with accounting standards and statutory requirements

Job Experience and Skills Required:).

Completed Degree in Accounting (essential)
Proven experience in a Senior Financial Accountant or similar role
Strong BuildSmart experience (non-negotiable)
Solid experience within the construction industry
