A forward-thinking organisation within the specialty chemicals and industrial water treatment industry is seeking to appoint a skilled and detail-oriented Senior Financial Accountant to join their finance team. This role offers the flexibility of a fully remote working environment while supporting operations based in PTA.

This opportunity is ideally suited to a CA(SA) with 2–3 years’ post-qualification experience who thrives in a dynamic environment and enjoys taking ownership of financial reporting, compliance, and process improvement initiatives.

The successful candidate will play a key role in maintaining financial integrity, supporting business decisions through accurate reporting, and ensuring adherence to regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and review monthly management accounts and financial reports
• Ensure compliance with IFRS and statutory reporting requirements
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis
• Manage balance sheet reconciliations and maintain strong financial controls
• Support the preparation of annual financial statements and external audits
• Identify and implement improvements to financial processes and reporting systems
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support strategic and operational decision-making

• CA(SA) qualification (non-negotiable)
• 2–3 years’ post-qualification experience
• Strong understanding of financial reporting and IFRS
• Experience within manufacturing, chemicals, engineering, or related industries advantageous
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and organisational abilities
• Ability to work independently within a remote environment and manage deadlines effectively
