SUMMARY:
Multi-national manufacturing concern has an opportunity for a suitably qualified candidate with previous experience in a similar role. The role would suit a person who has been involved in a complex environment with projects exposure. Definite promotional opportunities.

POSITION INFO:

Minimum of 5 - 7 years post articles experience

CA(SA) or CIMA qualification is essential

The role would be the right hand to the Regional Financial Controller

Some of the duties and responsibilities would include:

Orders, sales and cost of sales - reviewing daily flash, royalty calculations, BI Monthly, TM1 and month end sales reporting, resolve costing and pricing issues, review sales budgets and forecasts

Fixed Assets - full fixed assets responsibilities, recons and depreciations, capitalise assets and disposals

General Accounting - implementation of new standards, review detail account recons for balance sheet accounts, balancing inter-company, calculations of GIT and expense accruals, review intercompany interest calculations, IFRS 16

Banking, treasury and hedging - review bank recons, release payments, forex deals

Statutory reporting

Management reporting

Involvement with numerous projects

Candidate needs to be able to multi-task and be versatile whilst being adaptable and ambitious

SAP experience advantageous, otherwise large ERP experience

This role would form part of a succession planning with definite growth opportunities
