SUMMARY:
Leading Multi-National Manufacturing concern, based on the East Rand, has an exciting opportunity for a Senior Financial Accountant to join their team. Report directly to the FM and be responsible for processing accounting activities for the respective company codes including monthly, quarterly and yearly IFRS Group reporting on Hyperion.

POSITION INFO:

Successful incumbent will have a completed National Diploma or B.Com (Accounting) degree, plus completed SAICA / SAIPA articles, with 6+ years related commercial experience in GL and Asset Accounting, within a Global Manufacturing, FMCG or Pharma industry. CA(SA) with 3+ years commercial experience in a similar role, highly advantageous.

Recent work experience on SAP FI essential as well as solid IFRS reporting experience. Basic Hyperion knowledge. KPI''s include : reflection of daily business activities in accounting for the respective company code(s), monthly quarterly IFRS Group reporting, LGAAP reporting; reflection of daily business activities in asset accounting and continuous reflection of IFRS16 leasing contracts in the respective software solution.
