JOB SUMMARY:
Join a growing Multi-National Organization as a Senior Accountant. Take on the full Financial Function as well as external Audit of multiple holding entities. This great opportunity is open to an experienced Accountant with a Finance Degree and a minimum of 3-yearsâ experience in a similar role working with foreign currency.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Prepare monthly set of management accounts

Monitor monthly expenditure to ensure it remains within budget

Prepare payment listing for approval, load and release payments, verify new banking details, maintain banking records and signatory updates

Provide all necessary information for cashflow forecasting

Petty cash: Weekly/monthly reconciliation, posting journal entries

Foreign currency: restating foreign balances at month end spot rates

Prepare and submit monthly VAT return

Maintenance of fixed asset register

Maintenance of lease register

Prepare monthly reconciliations of balance sheet accounts including intercompany reconciliations and confirmations with counterparties

Assist with drafting full IFRS sets of AFS on Caseware

Assist with with detailed analytical work and special investigations when or as needed

Skills & Experience:

Minimum 3 – 5 years in a similar position

Experience working with foreign currencies – Africa preferred

Prepare payment listing for approval, load and release payments, verify new banking details, maintain banking records and signatory updates

Provide all necessary information for cashflow forecasting

Qualification:

Atleast a Bcom Finance Qualification

SAIPA or SAICA Articles are beneficial
