Seeking a Senior Financial Accountant / Accounting Manager.
POSITION INFO:
A well-established organisation in the Eastern Cape is seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Financial Accountant/Accounting Manager to oversee core financial operations and lead a dedicated team. This hands-on role requires a blend of technical accounting expertise and strong management skills to ensure the accuracy, integrity, and efficiency of the financial function, with a strong focus on fixed assets, accounts payable, and cash management.
If you thrive in a dynamic environment, are an excellent problem-solver, and can effectively communicate complex financial information to both finance and operational teams, then this is the role for you.
Key Responsibilities:
- Fixed asset management
- Accounts payable (AP) oversight
- Cashbook & treasury operations
- Drive the month-end and year-end close processes
- Prepare supporting schedules
- Assist with the production of reliable management accounts and financial statements
- Lead, mentor, and manage the finance team (likely a team of 3-8 staff), fostering accountability, professional growth, and effective teamwork
- Process improvement & compliance
Job Experience and Skills Required:- Education – BCom
- Experience – 3-5 years' experience
- 3 years management experience
