SUMMARY:
We are partnering with a leading financial services company to find an accomplished Senior Financial Accountant who can take ownership of complex reporting and play a key role in driving financial excellence.

POSITION INFO:
Key Responsibilities:

Preparation and review of annual financial statements (IFRS)
Oversight of monthly management accounts, reconciliations, and reporting packs
Support statutory, regulatory, and tax compliance
Contribute to budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management
Partner with auditors, regulators, and internal stakeholders

Key Requirements:

BCom Accounting (Honours / CA(SA) advantageous)
4–6 years financial accounting experience, preferably within financial services (insurance, asset management, or banking)
Strong technical knowledge of IFRS and regulatory requirements
Advanced Excel and systems proficiency (CaseWare, SAP, or similar)
Proven ability to work independently and mentor junior team members
