JOB SUMMARY:
Cornubia. Opportunity exists for competent, meticulous Senior Financial Administrator with Finance Degree and at least 4 years experience in a Finance / Accounts role to join well-established company within the wholesale and distribution industry. Restaurant experience advantage.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Provide assistant to Group Financial Manager and External Financial Consultant in all aspects. Responsibilities will include:

Full payroll administration
Maintenance of general ledger
Forex receipts and payments
Cashflows / budgets
Books of account up to trial balance
Processing cashbooks / bank reconciliations
VAT / PAYE
Maintenance of fixed asset register
Calculation and provision for depreciation
Reconciliation of inter-company loan accounts
Oversee debtors / creditors
Monthly journals and accruals
Handling of queries / assistance to external auditors
BBBEE
Banking - preparation and loading of payments

Requirements:

Finance Degree with minimum 4 years experience in a Finance role
Software - Sage Pastel Accounting, VIP Payroll, Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook
Must be able to deal with group of companies
Experience in wholesale will be an advantage
Articles advantageous
Must be mature, meticulous, analytical, neat, and organised
Must be a disciplined, have a strong personality and be independent
Must be flexible and a team player
There will be occasional travel to Uvongo, KZN
Restaurant experience advantage.
