Our client, a market leader in the distribution industry, is seeking a Senior Financial Manager to join their growing finance function in Johannesburg East. This is a permanent opportunity for a high-calibre finance professional who brings technical strength, strong consolidation expertise, and proven leadership experience. This position is ideally suited to a Chartered Accountant with a solid track record in managing complex group structures and delivering insights that drive performance.

Duties:

• Oversee the group consolidation process, ensuring timely and accurate reporting across multiple entities.
• Lead the monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting process, including preparation of board packs and statutory submissions.
• Manage and mentor a team of finance professionals, fostering growth and accountability.
• Ensure compliance with IFRS, tax regulations, and other statutory requirements.
• Collaborate with executive leadership to provide financial insights and strategic recommendations.

• A qualified CA(SA) designation – this is essential.

• Minimum 5 years’ post-qualification experience, with a focus on group-level consolidations and financial reporting.
• Proven experience managing a finance team or function, with a demonstrated ability to lead and mentor.
