Senior Financial Manager

A leading organisation is seeking a qualified CA(SA) to join its finance team as a Senior Financial Manager. Reporting directly to senior financial leadership, this role will serve as the second-in-command within the finance function and will be responsible for overseeing financial reporting, managing a finance team, driving process improvements, and supporting strategic business initiatives. This position is ideally suited to an experienced finance professional who thrives in a dynamic environment and enjoys partnering with stakeholders across the business. Key Responsibilities: Oversee the preparation and review of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting Ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial information presented to executive management Support strategic planning, budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis processes Assist in managing the overall finance function and act as a key support to senior financial leadership Lead and mentor finance team members, ensuring high levels of performance and accountability Monitor and improve financial controls, policies, and procedures Manage cash flow, working capital, and overall financial performance reporting Partner with operational and executive stakeholders to provide financial insights and recommendations Drive continuous improvement initiatives across finance processes and reporting functions Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards, legislation, and corporate governance requirements Job Experience and Skills Required: Qualified CA(SA) is essential 10-15 years of finance and accounting experience Minimum 5 years' management experience within a finance environment Proven experience in a senior financial management role Strong financial reporting experience is non-negotiable Demonstrated experience leading teams and managing finance functions Experience within the property or development sector will be advantageous Strong systems and computer literacy Excellent understanding of financial controls, reporting standards, and business operations Proven track record of stability and long-term tenure within previous roles Key Attributes: Adaptable and able to navigate change effectively Quick thinker with strong problem-solving abilities Comfortable working within a fast-paced and continuously evolving environment Strong communicator with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels Results-driven and motivated by high-performance standards Able to work effectively under pressure while maintaining attention to detail Flexible and proactive approach to challenges and opportunities Why Consider This Opportunity?
