SUMMARY:
A pioneering organisation based in Johannesburg is looking for an innovative Senior Financial Manager to join their hard working team.

POSITION INFO:

Qualifications:

• CA (SA), or
• Bachelor of Commerce degree, or
• Bachelor of Commerce (Hons) degree

Skills:

• Minimum of 10 years of experience in finance disciplines, of which a minimum of 5 years in management
• Comprehensive working experience in Tax, Financial Accounting, Costing and Accounts Payable/Receivable will be advantageous
• Tax legislation ERP system and interaction report writing experience

Job description:

• Introduce business strategy and evaluate departmental policies and procedures for taxation, costing, financial accounting and reporting and payable accounts functions.
• Assist the Finance General Manager in executing long-term strategic plans to improve and retain company performance.
• Compliance with tax legislation, Companies Act, IAS and IFRS, group accounting policies and governance frameworks.
• In order to promote compliance and governance, develop and enforce effective financial structures and management mechanisms.
• Financial monitoring and reliable and trustworthy financial statements, tax compliance and the introduction of effective management accounting systems.
• Daily financial accounting and control management to long term compliance and financial system and process implementations.
