A multinational concern specializing in photography and imaging, medical equipment and biotechnology is looking for a Senior Financial Manager to join their finance team. The concern is known for innovating in medicine, highly functional materials and many other high-tech areas.

JOB & COMPANY DESCRIPTION

The successful candidate will be responsible for supervising all accounting activities and ensuring a pro-active and constructive collaboration. The Senior Financial Manager will be responsible for preparing the annual budgets, coordinating the month end and year end closing activities as well as ensuring compliance with local tax requirements. The successful candidate will also be responsible for supervising a small team, maintaining accurate records and providing advice to management.

EDUCATION

The successful candidate must have the following qualifications:

• CA (SA)

JOB EXPERIENCE & SKILLS REQUIRED

• At least 4-5 year’s post article experience
• Experience in the retail/wholesale industries is preferred
• Working knowledge of SAP
• Working knowledge of rebate reconciliation and payment
• Experience with imports and exports is preferred
• Previous management experience preferably managing a team of 3-5 people
• Advanced Excel skills is preferred
• Ability to think out the box
• Innovative
• Structured approach to financial management
