POSITION INFO:
Duties:

Ã¯Â‚Â· Plan, negotiate and execute purchases with local and international key suppliers
Ã¯Â‚Â· Maintain expenditure within budget
Ã¯Â‚Â· Conduct and maintain costing of major raw material inputs
Ã¯Â‚Â· Manage negotiations and contracts of supply
Ã¯Â‚Â· Maintain quality of stock received and stock levels to specification
Ã¯Â‚Â· Maintain and measure accurate forward cost planning
Ã¯Â‚Â· Manage hedged positions, protecting against negative market movements
Ã¯Â‚Â· Investigate and benchmark alternate suppliers of raw materials world-wide
Ã¯Â‚Â· Compile and maintain critical financial controls, reporting and matrixes at a group level
Ã¯Â‚Â· Build sustainable relationships with key internal and external stakeholders
Ã¯Â‚Â· Manage and develop subordinates

Requirements:

Ã¯Â‚Â· BComm or similar Accounting degree
Ã¯Â‚Â· 5 years’ direct purchasing experience advantageous
Ã¯Â‚Â· Experience dealing with negotiations, contracts of supply and financial reporting at a senior level
