Large group of companies in Cape Town CBD is seeking a qualified CA or fully qualified CIMA finance professional to take on the role of Senior Financial Manager. You will be responsible for a lively, ambitious, and task-driven finance team and you will report to the Chief Financial Officer. POSITION INFO:

Manage cash efficiency and cashflow

Check and control company expenses

Ensure that all balance-sheet reconciliations are produced on an accurate and timely basis to include bank reconciliations, debtors, creditors and inter-company account

Ensure implementation and adherence to finance policies, procedures, and systems across all teams

Ensure compliance to systems, processes, and controls

Ensure monthly reports are completed and submitted timeously

Managing the performance of the legal entities

Communicate performance requirements clearly to all staff members

Monitor progress and provide regular feedback and guidance to staff

Evaluate performance regularly

Ensure the application of performance management policies and procedures

Ensure that the department/division complies with all the relevant legislation

Proactively manage and identify possible risks and ensure timely action to limit and/or prevent risks

Manage the Business unit/division budget

Qualification:

CA(SA) or CIMA non-negotiable
