Senior Financial Manager - Nigeria

SUMMARY:
A leading FMCG/Manufacturing company with a footprint across Africa, is looking for a hands-on, experienced South African expat to join as the Financial Manager for their Nigeria team

POSITION INFO:

Key responsibilities will include Leadership and Management of the Financial function as well as being a key input provider into the overall Strategic Management of the company. This role holds Seniority which will extend to a 2IC to the GM, managing the office when he is not there.

Ideal candidates will have sound knowledge of a Group Manufacturing Environment and processes as well as strong Costing and related skills such as Process Analysis, Variance Analysis etc. Experience dealing with external authorities as well as governance and internal controls within Nigeria are essential.

Requirements:

• Minimum 7-8 years relevant experience of which at least 3 should have been acquired within a Manufacturing Plant environment.
• A minimum of a recognized Accounting Degree equivalent to ACCA or similar.
• Experience in working within Nigeria and West African Countries
• Strong knowledge of computer systems (Sage) and software.

Although this role will be based at the Head office, individuals will be required to spend time at the Factory
