Senior Front End Developer - React

A financial solutions provider using data science and analytics to change the way traditional investment is done, helping their Client's on their lifelong financial journey!
What really sets these guys apart though is their responsive, people first culture! From whom they hire down to tech stack - all the important decisions are being made by the people they will have most impact on - their Developers!
Testament to this, it has been through listening to their Developers that has identified the need for this role.
They have undergone a lot of change recently - think adopting modern tech, principles, and methods! They are also in the midst of building a brand new, data driven investment platform changing the way their clients can access and manage their assets.
This is currently being built in: HTML, CSS ,JavaScript, TypeScript and React!
The role
This is a brand-new role; you'll be heading up a new product and mentoring those around you to embed React into the team! The team currently work across the Full Stack, they are adopting a modern Front End, so they are looking for an expert in React!
These guys work in SCRUM teams of around 7 Developers, where they will work closely with the Product Team to build their newest product and really shape the future of the organisation!
Day to day you'll become responsible for developing high quality features and components, turning designs into clear and reusable code. You will collaborate across the business and have the opportunity to provide insights to a range of interesting clients, both public and private sector, large and small.
What we're looking for?
A mix of the following;
- A solid understanding of React
- JavaScript/TypeScript
- HTML & CSS
Experience of the following would be beneficial but not essential;
- AWS experience
- DevOps tools - Jenkins, Chef, Vagrant, Terraform or similar
- Experience working in an Agile environment
