A highly experienced Senior Front-end Engineer is sought to take ownership of front-end architecture and design decisions, leading the implementation of scalable applications. The role involves close collaboration with cross-functional teams to influence best practices and drive technical excellence. POSITION INFO:
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and build scalable front-end applications using React and TypeScript.
- Lead front-end architecture and design decisions.
- Develop high-quality, maintainable, and performant UI components.
- Collaborate closely with backend engineers, designers, and product teams.
- Drive best practices in front-end development.
- Ensure code quality through reviews, testing, and technical leadership.
- Contribute to improving developer experience, performance, and usability.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to other developers.
Job Experience and Skills Required:- Degree or Diploma in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field (or equivalent practical experience).
- Minimum of 4 years’ experience with React.
- Minimum of 4 years’ experience with TypeScript.
- Solid understanding of modern front-end architecture and design patterns.
- Proven experience building large-scale, production-grade web applications.
- In-depth knowledge of JavaScript/ES6+, component-based architectures, API integration, performance optimisation, and state management patterns.
- Experience with front-end tooling and modern build systems
