We are looking for a Senior Front End Developer with strong Angular expertise to join a collaborative, delivery-focused environment. This role is ideal for someone who is highly technical, standards-driven, and hands-on, with a passion for clean code, scalable frontend architecture, and mentoring junior developers.

This is not a people-management role. You will not be responsible for line management, but you will play a key role in influencing frontend standards, improving code quality, and guiding less experienced developers through mentorship and example.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, build, and deliver new frontend features using Angular in a production environment

• Work extensively with NgRx or similar state management libraries

• Maintain and improve frontend standards, code quality, and best practices

• Contribute to frontend architecture with a focus on performance, scalability, and maintainability

• Review code and mentor junior developers to ensure clean, consistent, and maintainable solutions

• Collaborate closely with backend developers, designers, and delivery teams to ship high-quality products

• Participate in testing practices and CI/CD workflows

What You Bring

• 8+ years’ experience working with Angular in a production environment

• 5+ years’ experience using NgRx or similar state management libraries

• 5+ years’ experience with modern JavaScript (ES6+) and TypeScript

• Strong understanding of frontend architecture, performance optimisation, and maintainability

• Experience with testing frameworks and CI/CD pipelines

• A high standard for code quality and best practices

• Confidence mentoring junior developers and influencing technical direction through example

• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail

Nice to Have

• Experience working in regulated or enterprise environments

• Exposure to large-scale or complex frontend applications

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree

• Based in Gauteng and able to commute to the office for hybrid work

• No visa sponsorship required
