JOB SUMMARY:
We are currently recruiting for a Senior Front-end Developer to join a team based in Gauteng on a long term contract (24 months + ) This role offers remote work.

6 - 8 years in software development
Web and digital project experience
Agile working experience

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Role Tasks:

Develop systems solutions in line with quality and delivery requirements
Ensure that all processes are investigated/considered in obtaining the specifications of the user requirements
Propose and review system design and evaluate alternatives
Review and present proposed system solution to IT Project Manager / Leader and User Management or System owner
Ensure that the following steps in the Development Cycle are executed:
Preparation of system/technical documentation (as per ISO standards)
- Preparation of user and operation manual
- User training
- System testing/parallel runs
- System implementation
- System audits/quality assurance
Implement pixel perfect UI designs
Implement re-usable HTML and JS logic
Ensure all code is readable, extendable and scalable
Ensure that stylesheets are maintained and adapted where necessary
Ensure that all implementations can be passed over to other developers, mid development, with minimum of handover
Polished frontend behaviour to ensure a great user experience

Technical Skill Set:

Angular2-13 experience
Experience in HTML5, CSS3, SASS and LESS
Javascript knowledge and programming experience with ES5/ES6
Experience with client-side architecture and design patterns
Experience with version control tools like Git or SVN
Experience with tools like Redux, Webpack, Angular CLI and/or Gulp
Experience with web components
