Duties: Design, develop and maintain enterprise web applications using C# and .NET. Build modern user interfaces using Blazor. Develop secure, scalable RESTful APIs. Design and optimise SQL Server databases. Participate throughout the full Software Development Life Cycle. Perform code reviews and mentor junior developers. Collaborate with Business Analysts, QA Engineers and Solution Architects. Develop unit tests and ensure high-quality code. Troubleshoot production issues and contribute to continuous improvement. Participate in Agile ceremonies and technical planning. Job Experience & Skills Required: Qualifications: Matric (Grade 12) Bachelor's Degree, National Diploma, or Advanced Diploma in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field. Relevant Microsoft certifications (Azure, .NET, DevOps) will be advantageous. Equivalent practical experience will be considered for candidates with a strong commercial development background. Experience: 8+ years of experience in software development. Proven experience developing enterprise applications using C# and the Microsoft .NET stack. Strong commercial experience with .NET Core \/ .NET 6+, ASP.NET Core, SQL Server, and RESTful APIs. Experience with Blazor is highly advantageous. Experience in Financial Services or Insurance is advantageous.. Skills & Competencies: Commercial experience with C#, .NET Core and SQL Server. Experience building modern web applications using Blazor (highly advantageous). Solid understanding of RESTful API development. Experience with Agile\/Scrum methodologies. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to mentor junior developers and contribute to technical best practices. Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills. Azure cloud experience. Microservices architecture. Docker and Kubernetes. Experience with Azure DevOps and CI\/CD pipelines.
