Lead technical design discussions and drive implementation decisions. Design, build and maintain RESTful APIs and microservices using ASP.NET Core. Develop efficient, secure and scalable data solutions using Entity Framework Core and SQL Server. Optimise application performance, scalability and security. Mentor junior developers through code reviews, technical guidance and best practices. Contribute to CI\/CD pipelines and DevOps initiatives to improve software delivery. Troubleshoot complex production issues and drive long-term technical improvements. Collaborate closely with business stakeholders, product teams and fellow engineers to deliver high-quality software. Job Experience & Skills Required: Qualifications: Matric (Grade 12) Bachelor's Degree or National Diploma in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or equivalent practical experience. Experience: 5-10+ years of commercial experience developing applications using C# and .NET. Strong experience with ASP.NET Core, Entity Framework Core, LINQ and SQL Server. Proven experience designing and consuming RESTful APIs. Solid understanding of object-oriented programming, SOLID principles and design patterns. Experience working with microservices and distributed systems. Experience working in Agile development environments. Exposure to CI\/CD pipelines and DevOps practices. Experience with Angular, React or Blazor will be advantageous. Strong understanding of secure coding practices and application performance optimisation. Experience troubleshooting and supporting production systems. Skills & Competencies: Advanced C# & .NET Development.
