SUMMARY:
To provide support for the Head: Asset Management and Treasury in the distribution and syndication of financing instruments in both the primary and secondary capital markets

POSITION INFO:

JOB DESCRIPTION

Preparation of Information Memoranda and summaries including analysis or returns, investment case, sensitivities and scenario analysis. Qualitative and quantitive review and analysis of asset portfolio for current and potential counterparties
Post execution monitoring including quarterly portfolio reporting
Valuation and Reporting against market standard valuation guidelines and principles
Financial Modelling and tranching of capital market instruments
Legal review and negotiation of financing documents including working knowledge of intercreditor arrangements
Compliance with South African Capital Market Listing regulations and other relevant legislative framework; i.e. King III, MFMA, PFMA, Companies Act etc.
Developing intermediary relationships including with rating agencies and global asset managers. Maintain a broad network of potential co-investors and market participants
Represent IF in required distribution and syndication interactions

JOB REQUIREMENTS

Qualifications & Experience

Relevant University Degree (Finance/Engineering/Mathematic/ Statistics/Business Science/Actuarial/) 2. Relevant Post Graduate Qualification
At least 8 years’ experience in listed and/or unlisted capital market instruments
Demonstrated excellence in the field of listed and or unlisted capital market instruments
Engineer, Actuary, CA(SA), CFA, MBA would be advantageous
