JOB CONTEXT:

We’re on the lookout for a sharp, detail-driven, skilled and experienced Senior General Building Foreman to join our dynamic team in Cape Town.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in managing construction projects, ensuring high-quality workmanship, and overseeing project teams effectively.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Supervise and coordinate daily site operations to ensure project timelines and quality standards are met.
• Manage and oversee subcontractors, suppliers, and site personnel.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
• Read and interpret construction plans, specifications, and schedules.
• Maintain communication between project managers, engineers, and on-site teams.
• Conduct quality control checks and resolve any on-site issues promptly.

• National Diploma in Building or a related qualification.
• 5-10 years’ experience in the construction industry, with a proven track record in upmarket housing developments.
• Experience in multi-level residential, commercial, and/or retail building projects (for senior roles).
• Excellent leadership and communication skills.
• Valid driver’s license and own transport.
• Based in Cape Town.

• Will be agreed based on qualifications, experience and skills.
