JOB CONTEXT:

We’re on the lookout for a sharp, detail-driven, skilled and experienced Senior General Building Foreman to join our dynamic team in Cape Town.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in managing construction projects, ensuring high-quality workmanship, and overseeing project teams effectively.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Supervise and coordinate daily site operations to ensure project timelines and quality standards are met.
Manage and oversee subcontractors, suppliers, and site personnel.
Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
Read and interpret construction plans, specifications, and schedules.
Maintain communication between project managers, engineers, and on-site teams.
Conduct quality control checks and resolve any on-site issues promptly.

Qualifications And Skills Requirements:

National Diploma in Building or a related qualification.
5-10 years’ experience in the construction industry, with a proven track record in upmarket housing developments.
Experience in multi-level residential, commercial, and/or retail building projects (for senior roles).
Excellent leadership and communication skills.
Valid driver’s license and own transport.
Based in Cape Town.

Package & Remuneration:

Will be agreed based on qualifications, experience and skills.
