Senior Graphic Designer - Somerset West

SUMMARY:
Our client is looking for a Senior Graphic Designer who can design marketing and campaign collateral for in-store and digital use, as well as internally

POSITION INFO:

Job Specification

Must be able to interpret briefs and develop creative artwork on a campaign basis

Design marketing collateral for print and web, including but not limited to: Logo Designs

Must have strong illustration skills

Consumer communications (print leaflets, emailers)

Product Mockups

Packaging Design

Block mounts

Posters

POS

Social Media

Website Banners / Landing Pages

Google Ads

Any ad-hoc requests

Create content for social media, including but not limited to Instagram stories and main feed posts

Assist with any in-house design required, e.g. Retail Bulletin updates, store collateral

Image edits: Colour corrections where needed

Must be able to manage projects from brief to print

Design promotional emailers, upload and implement in DotDigital, submit to the manager to approve

Must have a clear understanding of social media, and the various formats for artwork, as well as a basic understanding of social media marketing

Create videos for social media and edits where required

Minimum Requirements

Diploma or degree in Graphic Design / Multi-media arts

3-5 Years’ experience in Graphic Design

Must be able to present an extensive design portfolio of work to be sent with CV

Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator, After Effects, Premier Pro)

Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint)

Must have a clear understanding of print design as well as digital design (responsive, mobile)

Energetic and hard-working, must have a problem-solving attitude

Deadline driven

Creative

Excellent attention to detail

Be able to work independently and prioritise

Strong communication skills

Good time management skills

Stay up to date with the latest design and social media trends
