SUMMARY:
The Capital Support Office is recruiting a Senior Group Accountant Ã¢Â€Â“ based in Sandton, Johannesburg.

Key Performance Area/s:

Preparation of management accounts
Fulfill full range of bookkeeping duties
Monthly statutory returns, including VAT returns
Inter group loan reconciliations
Manage relationships with service providers such as Auditors, Bankers, etc.
Loading of payments onto banking portal(s)
Reconciliation of cash books for The Capital Hotels and Apartments
Uploading of bank statement onto the ClaimIT
- Confidentiality: Do not discuss any business-related matters with outsiders
- Carry out any other duties may be required from time to time

Education Level Required:

SAIPA qualification
Tax knowledge/ experience (Experience interacting with SARS)

Skills Required:

SAGE Evolution
Advanced MS Excel

Level of Experience:

At least 5 years of experience in a Group Accountant or General Finance role
Shared Services Experience advantageous

Essential personal characteristics required:

Strong attention to detail
Dynamic and “Can Do” attitude
Strong Interpersonal skills (team player)
Well organized
Admin orientated
