International Logistics group with a large footprint in South America requires the expertise of a seasoned IR Consultant to be based at their Head Office in Johannesburg. The group has embarked on a large expansion project and needs a skilled individual who can partner with senior management to implement and drive best labour practices.

Key duties:

• Disciplinary Hearings and Dispute Resolution
• CCMA related matters
• Union negotiations
• Conciliations
• Compliance with the labour law

Requirements:

• Diploma or Degree in Human Resources/IR or Labour Law
• 3 to 5 years’ experience in an Industrial Relations role
• Extensive knowledge in Labour Law, Employment Equity, Employment Law, Basic Conditions of Employment, Skills Development, CCMA, and Disciplinary procedures
• Experience in chairing disciplinary hearings and procedures
• Knowledge of HR best practices
• Experience in the logistics and warehousing environment is advantageous
