POSITION INFO:
What will be your key responsibilities?
• Develop and maintain innovative solutions to meet business and integration requirements.
• Develop innovative solutions using SanFin approved coding languages and operating systems.
• Provide technical support to in house developed applications and integration processes.
• Understand and implement SanFin software development life cycle (SDLC)
• Participate in every aspect of the system development life cycle.
• Assist in the design review of applications and processes.
• Assist in the quality assurance of the applications and processes.
• Must have an ability to write quality functional and technical specifications.
• Maintain coding standards.
• Keep abreast with latest technologies relevant to SanFin.
• Must be able to do after hours support.
• Perform Disaster Recovery tests on a bi-annual basis.
• Provide support and guidance to other developers.
Qualification and Experience:
• Relevant tertiary qualification
• Between 7 – 10 years development experience
Knowledge and Skills:
• Excellent knowledge of Visual Studio 2017 and later versions.
o C#
o ASP.NET
o .NET CORE
• Excellent knowledge of Angular and Node.js
• Excellent knowledge of SQL SERVER 2016 and later versions.
• Excellent knowledge of Unified Modelling Language (UML).
• Excellent knowledge of DevOps
• Good knowledge of VB and VBA
• Good knowledge of Mathematics
• Good knowledge of Financial Markets and the Credit Risk Business will be an advantage.
• Ability to work under pressure and on tight deadlines.
• Ability to collaborate and pull information together.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
