SUMMARY:
Our client is on the lookout for a seasoned VB.NET Developer with deep SQL Server experience to join their established team. This is a senior-level role where your expertise will directly influence the performance and reliability of critical internal systems.

POSITION INFO:

Designing, developing, and maintaining robust VB.NET applications
Managing and optimizing SQL Server databases, stored procedures, and queries
Working closely with internal stakeholders to gather requirements and implement scalable solutions
Playing a lead role in debugging, documentation, and the long-term sustainability of legacy systems
Contributing to technical decision-making and mentoring junior team members

Skills & experience:
Minimum 6+ years of hands-on experience in VB.NET development
Strong command of Microsoft SQL Server, including T-SQL, database design, and performance tuning
A solid understanding of application lifecycle and software development best practices
A methodical and proactive approach to working with legacy systems
Any experience with .NET migrations or modernisation projects would be a plus

Qualification:
Bachelor of Science in Computer Science, Information Technology or any relevant degree
