POSITION INFO:

My client in the government sector is looking for a Senior Project Manager on a 6 months contract basis.

Purpose

The purpose of this role is to manage the planning and delivery of the information technology (IT) projects in accordance with the client's project management methodology and other applicable IT standards.

Experience needed to be a senior project manager

The senior project manager should have:
• At least 7 years’ experience in IT project management with a least 4 years’ experience as a senior IT project manager
• Experience managing audit software implementation projects
• Experience managing multiple concurrent projects
• Experience in PMBOK, PRINCE2 and/or PRINCE2 Agile methodologies
• Experience in using MS Office, MS Project and/or Project Online

Qualifications
The programme manager should have:
• IT related degree
• Certification in PMP/PRINCE2/PRINCE2 Agile
