Successful Network of Restaurants and Taverns in Cape Town is looking for a Senior IT Technician to Head of their IT support team.
Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Senior Technician, located in Cape Town. The Senior Technician will be responsible for the below:
Knowledge and Experience
- Understanding of pos systems
- Add and register employees
- Reporting and site management
- Setup and manage pos databases
- Integrate third party services
- Configure network and serial printers
- Technical troubleshooting and day to day support
- Microsoft operating systems from Windows 11 up until Windows Server 2022 but not limited
- Ability to build, maintain and repair computers, laptops and servers
- Strong fundamentals of networking and understanding of WLAN, VOIP, WAN and LAN environments.
- Design, configure and maintain network infrastructure i.e. Fortinet, Mikrotik, L3 network switches, Dell Servers, etc. but not limited
Qualifications and Attributes- Punctual and Presentable
- Strong work ethic and quick leaner
- Ability to work under pressure and motivated
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Relevant certifications or qualifications in IT
- NB. Must have a valid driver’s license
- Pilot experience would be an advantage
