SUMMARY:
To ensure proper maintenance of IT Infrastructure, DRP planning and implementation. Ensuring maximum Server and Network uptime, support assistance with all IT related calls. Research of new technologies.

POSITION INFO:

Duties:

Implement and maintain the IT related policies and documentation (compliancy) Monitor IT infrastructure
Manage LAN, WAN and telephony
Provide Help Desk Function
Taking on of ad hoc Assignments
Manage Staff performance
IT Reporting
Handling Queries from both internal and external Sources

Qualifications/attributes/ competencies and experience

Matric
Microsoft Certified
5 years’ experience supporting Microsoft Infrastructure AD, Exchange,
VMware and Veeam Certified
Exposure to SAN infrastructure (EMC and NetApp) (Advantageous)
Experience in supporting networks, configuring switches, routers
Solid understanding of firewall technology and support
Exposure to telephony systems such as Avaya and NICE (Advantageous)
Microsoft Active Directory (Essential)
Server OS 2018 or newer (Essential)
Microsoft Exchange 2016
SharePoint 2010 or newer
Networking and Security
Enterprise Storage (EMC) Networking [HP & Cisco] Firewall [Fortinet]
Team Leader experience(Essential)
